Club night last night! It was a great night and I have a great group of ladies. One more month left with this group :(

This baby card was made in several different colors, each of them looking great. The pull out feature is my monthly challenge. I'd love to see what you come up with in a pull-out card. Email yours to spicystamper@gmail.com and I'll feature them on my blog and facebook page.

This little gnome was a fun one, I don't often color in my images, but it was so simple with blender pens and classic ink pads. And with flowers starting to grow and trees starting to blossom, happiness is being "sprinkled" everywhere!

This Medallion stamp is being retired in a few months. I love this stamp and will be sad to see it go, but I have one, so I won't be too sad!! lol This card is so versatile and could be used for any occassion from sympathy to wedding or anniversary. Just change your words and you're good to go. It literally takes just minutes to make!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my cards!

A wedding in the air!!

Recently a member of my extended family got engaged. Nothing like a wedding in the works to get the creative juices flowing!! I am feeling super lucky to be asked to make the invitations for this glorious event, and being my first big order for invitations, I needed to get some samples done up. I did a lot of google searching and found lots of I ideas I could work with. The first invitation I made, I fell in love with and secretly hoped that would be the one she picked, and pending future spouse's thumbs up, that's the one all right!! I have plenty of time to get it done, and can't wait to get started!! Enjoy my invitations and let me know what you think!!

A few loose Teeth....

My oldest little guy recently started loosing his teeth, and as I remember my Mom doing, I have started a little stash of teeth ;) I purchased these tins from Stampin' Up!'s clearance rack a while back and had not yet found a use for them. I think it will be the perfect little hiding place for those fallen chompers!

Home sweet Home!!

Well, it's official, we have relocated. A very full moving truck, a very full trailer and several minivans and we now live in Duchess, Alberta! We have downsized significantly (about half the space) but don't miss a single thing that we gave up to be here. Well, that's not true, I REALLY miss my craft room!! I have taken over half of my kitchen counter top the last few days to stamp and boy has it ever felt great!! lol It's been well over two months since I've been able to spend a little time stamping.
I have had to find some new storage for my Stampin' supplies, so I bought one of those rolling plastic 5-drawer units. It's amazing how much can fit into those things!! And at least it can go wherever I need it to.
A few friends are expecting babies in the next little while so that was high on my list to make a few baby cards, but not knowing the sex, had to make a few, aw shucks!! hee hee

Enjoy my cards, it feels great to be back!!

Ahhhhhhhh....... that was the sound when I finally got my goods unpacked back into my craft room. We had a basement reno going on for the last few months and I was stamping out of Rubbermaid totes. It feels great now to have things at an arms reach and not have to pack it all back up again when I'm done!!

My first card done with the owl punch. It's going to be fun to play with this one!!

It was our little buddy Garrett's birthday last week. He is five now, and this is the card he got from my boys.

I like to make my customers a thank you card with each month's purchases. The fall colors were very inspiring and this is the end result. I haven't had much chance to play with this punch or the waffle paper yet, but I like it so far.

This was my customer thank you car from September. I really love this Concord Crush color. And the base scallop oval is made from a pop can stamped with Stazon

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone and Thanks for looking!!

Ah, the X-Box......

Well, for those of you who weren't aware.... the new NHL '11 came out yesterday! Now please note that my excitement is not for the game itself, but for the card making time it buys me!! My hubby of course brought it home with him yesterday and wore a groove in the couch last night playing away.  (and I gladly wore a groove on the other side of the couch and the coffee table getting some cards made!) It really does give me uninterrupted time doing what I love!!
Here are some of the cards I came up with!! Thanks for looking!

Fall is on it's way!

Well, today is my oldest Son's first day of kindergarten! I didn't expect that my house would be so quiet with two little guys still at home with me, but there hasn't been much fighting at all today!
The leaves are starting to change color and fall, so beautiful! I love the new colors that fall brings. I CASE'd this card from the holiday mini. I really love these dark bold colors!
